This is a photo of us using our set of True surface vibro rollers on the greens. They perform a similar job to a greens iron, but use a greens triple as the power source. We will use them throughout the season when needed and following aeration.
I really like your blogg. It answers a lot of question as to why, when and where things are happening on the course. Let's hope all the hard work over the past months is rewarded with some decent growing weather soon!

ReplyDeleteThanks Ken. Fingers crossed for more warm weather.
DeleteAnything to improve the putting surface is welcomed
ReplyDeleteYes, its all about the surfaces. Its one of the reasons we spend so much time during the winter working on the soil.
DeleteLook at the two HUGE pitch marks in the foreground.
ReplyDeletePitchmarks! Don't get me started, they really are bad at the moment. Aarron repaired 67 on the 13th green this morning before he had to stop.
DeleteThese pitch marks are very dangerous for Paul Norbury as he has fallen into them on a number of occasions and had to be rescued
ReplyDeleteHa!
